No elite defensive coordinator will accept the role of "co-DC." You have to outright fire Goodwin (or force him to take an analyst position) and then tell Dabo he is forbidden to interfere with the new hires on gameday.

…. But none of that matters if you don’t get better players. And more of them.
It’s coaching and talent acquisition. Roster management has not been run the way it should for a top tier program. How many more games against elite teams do people have to see before they start to admit that? That’s not being negative. That’s being factual

Performance wise, it’s not as if the players are playing sub par. Coaching wise on offense we started well but drifted away from the quick game too soon. Defense is a coaching issue, don’t think players have been in the best position but have missed tackles which at the consultancy we’ve seen I think that’s back to coaching too. Texas is overall more talented with more depth. Player performance wise I’m not even upset. Think they’re played slightly better than the score indicates. But defensively Wes got caught flat footed too often
