I think we are going to see this team play a complete, 4 quarter game. They'll take just one play at a time and focus on doing their jobs. Defense will play bend but don't break. They'll keep everything in front of them and the defensive line will be able to just pin their ears back. We might give up some long plays but the DBs will have short memories and focus on their assignments. The offensive line will establish the line of scrimmage and allow our skill players to put their foot in the ground and make explosive plays. The QB will go through the progressions and make good decisions with the ball.
Our coaching staff knows this is a one game season. Blocking and tackling are key, along with turnovers and special teams. If the team can focus on fundamentals and ignore the outside noise I like their chances to be successful.
