I can hardly wait to read Daniel's whole story! Daniel is such an inspiration. I would love to read his story, and then share it with my two grandsons. One is a third-year college student, and the other is a high school freshman. I admire Daniel for his service to our country, and proud that he is a Clemson Tiger!

use it to inspire wounded warriors in their attempted recovery. I also, volunteer with Veterans on Deck, as I mentioned above - look us up on Facebook. The ones with suicidal tendencies would be very inspired especially to obtain a purpose and will in their lives like Awesome Tiger Daniel Rodriquez. I have had people tell me they did not "like Clemson" until this story (which I posted on facebook) came out. I am so proud of Daniel and Clemson. B.S. 1966. My Father, Uncle and Brother all graduated from that greatly improved and continually improving athletically as well as academically. One of my Brothers was killed in Viet Nam, and I work with wounded warriors and those with PTSD in his memory Barry Kenneth Alexander, CWO, Helicopter Pilot! At his death, Frank Howard invited me and my Brothers to be on the sidelines on a Game with Ga. Tech in Atlanta, as that is where the parents lived at that time. My older Brother Johnny played at Clemson as a Freshman, before having his arm amputated after his first year. Back then the freshman were separated from the rest of the varsity and freshman games were very well attended. Whitey Jordan was the coach and they had 8 teams, mostly walk-ons of course like my Brother, who was proud to work his way up to 3rd team. Dr. Bill Hunter, a former player, was an excellent volunteer line coach, and stated that Johnny had a chance to make the varsity, until his tragic accident in a near by mill.
