He has played limited this year as the 3rd string but the guys knows how to move north and south! He keeps his legs moving and he is super strong! The guys also knows how to lower his shoulder! He is like Mafah before mafah got hurt. I have been getting frustrated that mafah keeps running ob when he is one on one with a corner on the sideline! He needs to run some guys over and make him afraid to try and tackle him the next time he comes around! The whole point of a big leg running back is to move north and south and run some guys over! The speedster rb is the one we should be throwing the outside pitches to.
I think after all the fumbles last year the coaches are gun-shy. Nothing like live snaps but it’s a gamble. But I don’t think what they are doing in practice is helping him get more confident.
He isn't the break away threat Mafah used to be but then again Mafah is a shell of himself and isn't breaking away anything in his current state so, despite the coachspeak, it's obvious the coaches have zero faith in anyone other than Mafah or Haynes at this point, and now that Haynes may be done you know what that means.
