Vandy may be the only team in the world other than Clemson

that I have NEVER pulled for to lose. I thought about it.....I pull for them against every team in the SEC, and, if I have any rooting interest at all, basically every other team they play. I even pull for them to beat Duke and Wake, because who really cares there....
Vanderbilt may be my second favorite team of all time.

Well Vanderbilt is a true University as opposed to the other schools in the SEC that are mostly glorified community colleges. That in itself makes me want to pull for them !!

I'm doing grad school at Vandy, and work in Nashville

Graduated from CU in 2011. I'm going to a lot of their games this year when we are away and when I can't make it back.
I'm pretty pumped about going to this came and pulling against the Coots, and then going to ATL to watch us beat Auburn.
I would love to see the 'Dores knock off USCe early. I just hope my car with Clemson decals doesn't get keyed.

season coming, it's probably not this one. Most put them just ahead of Ky and Ole Miss at the bottom of the SEC. D is solid but the O line is a big ?
Would sure like to see it.

I'm just not sure of how much of one they have. First games of the year always have me on edge. Especially going into a hostile (using that term loosely) environment to start the season.
Our talent and coaching level is clearly higher, but you really can't factor in intangibles.

And the fact you are SC and have a history of losing to teams like Furman and the Citadel. Wasn't long ago they beat you two years in a row. O and not to mention the 17-23 record vs Duke. Man I can see why ya'll hate history

vandy has decent talent at most starting positions, they just don't have much quality depth. we are talking the 1st game of the year, and if they can get through fall camp relatively healthy, they have a better than average shot.

Funny you mention history when we are talking about an upcoming season. You've got 16 losses yourself against almighty Duke.
Could you also remind me which team holds the record for giving up the most points in a (BCS) bowl game ever?
Think before you post next time please.

When you start 2-11-1 from 1930-1955 I guess 15-13-2 the rest of the way is an improvement. 8-1-1 from 1979 when I was a College Freshman. You do love to quote that Duke stat, almost as much as bash WCCP and your buddy Walt.
