The new offensive coordinator has to go. He has a much better qb than Streeter had to work with and the offense has regressed back to 2020.

I said this a few weeks back, but he has never seemed thrilled to be here. I was excited when I heard he was coming but after seeing his I for press conference he just seems blah. Very little energy coming from him.

If you showed up from a CFP team and finally saw what talent you inherited, how much energy would you have? Considering, at least half your offense is collecting dust because it can't be used.
You must have missed his interview about 2 or 3 weeks back when he basically said they don't have the personnel to put the full offense in.

Riley is a great OC. He will be fine. He is not the problem with this team. He should have been allowed to clean house on the offensive side and hire his own coaches and recruit the portal. That is what is going to have to happen to turn this program around.

I'm not sure I know of any program where a coordinator "hire(s) his own coaches." I'm pretty sure that almost never happens anywhere.

Honestly, I’m not sure he’s being able to run the offense the way he wants. I said this in another thread, but he’s from the Mike Leach tree, and one thing Leach was famous for was extreme splits to make up for a poor offensive line and to spread the front 7 out and create space. With how bad our oline is, I would think that would be the first change Riley made, if running his system.
