In the chat room somebody (not me) posted -
I watched Dabo news conference the other day to start the week and he was SO nice and complimentary of FSU and the coaches and players...and I realized right then "yep..he's going to try and kill us"
That's where Nole fans are now. All of us are trying to figure out why it's only a 14.5 point spread? "Who would be stupid enough to take FSU +14.5?" is a common question.

If it were another Coach. That might be the case.
Dabo is all about the development of his young talent. If Clemson is able to get up on FSU; the young players will get an opportunity to play just like any other game.
I think he will want to show; "doesn't bother me what they say, proving a point just means I am listening: i'm not"!

But this is would only happen if the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th string guys are unstoppable. Which we've seen is not the case.

All of them on the field at the same time are not that impressive but they are getting valuable reps each time on the field and they are learning...Brown was doing a lot of bird dogging his early trips out but he is getting better each time...butts smell differently when they are hitting the ground hard!

Dabo never to shove anything in anyone’s face. He just doesn’t operate that way. As someone else said, he will play the starters the first half and if they score on every drive, he will empty the bench in the second half. Whoever posted that junk about Dabo wanting to shove something in their face obviously hasn’t been watching him.

I think Dabo truly did not like the guy. It may have stemmed from the time Muschamp tried to jokingly say Kathleen was flirting with him. The interaction was filmed and you could see that it fell VERY flat with Dabo.
After that, Dabo tried to beat the ever, loving $#!+ out of Muschamp. And he succeeded.

the score up on him in the past, he might leave his main guys in for a couple of extra series.
I don't think he would feel beating a 1-4 FSU team would prove/disprove anything about the portal/NIL.

Dabo will expect the first team to perform to "best is the standard". What they do, will not be about FSU, and all about them performing to their best effort. We have seen multiple performances this way. If they have scored on each drive, by halftime, send in the 2's. Its not about the score, it's about execution. The score, besides winning and losing, is secondary.

Not his style bro. If u don’t know that by now. If we are up significantly by half Cade will play one series maybe two in 3rd. Ground game attack and melt clock. Depends on Nole D to stop Vizzinq and run after.

If it gets to that, yes. Dabo doesn’t run up the score, not ever, not against anybody. If the score gets out of hand, it’s because 3rd and 4th string are scoring. I don’t think it will get to that.

That’s not who Dabo is. If we’re comfortably ahead early in Q3, there will be wholesale substitutions as always. CDS has respect for Norvell, he won’t run his nose in it.
