Let's take a look at the bleacher report pre season poll and view it the way it should be viewed.
I've always believed that these pre season polls are bias towards the SEC. I call it, stacking the deck.
South Carolina @10. Why? They have just a many questions if not more then we do. I would say more especially on defense. So why @10? What you accomplished last season? Well you finished in top 10 but so did we. Remember pre season polls are suppose to be about what a team projects to look like.
Texas am @11. What? Again, they lost just about everything. But not only are they ranked 11 but higher then what they finished last season. Biggest question here is would they be @11 if they were still in the big12? Easy answer. No. Plus how can the#11 team be playing the #10 team and be such a significant underdog at -14. Stacking the deck? Yep.
Georgia and LSU @12 &13? Again why? Was it because of the great seasons they had a year ago? LOL. Better yet, how are they ranked ahead of Michigan st @14? Stacking the deck? Yep
Florida @22??? Is this a joke or are they serious. Georgia southern says hi. Stacking the deck? Yep
Stacking the deck is how you make wins look like quality wins. If coots beat a&m it looked great cause they're@ 11....but even still if they loose. No big deal right?? It was a quality loss.
But the biggest question of all is, how can any poll exist with Clemson out of it and Florida in it.

Bleacher report and their poll equals charmin.....and we know what we use that for. Probably have douches like Korncoot and Bart Wright writing their articles and polls. Just laugh and take pleasure when we beat the breaks off of people this year.

I don't even acknowledge the BR due to their ineptness each year. I could throw darts at a board and pick as well.
As for USUC being ranked high - and this is JMO - until we manage to figure out a way to actually beat them, then they should always be ranked higher than us. SEC or not. If we want the universe to realign as it should, then it starts this year in DV when we beat the chickens. And we don't just need to beat them - we need to dominate them. Until then - we're just pizzing into the wind.

Clemson had their chance to join the SEC.....oh, wait that was FSU.
Maybe it has something to do with the ACC as a whole.....historically weak. Cu went 7-1 in conference last year and the combined w/l record of the 7 teams you beat was 37-51. Out of 14 teams in the SEC ten had winning records....five had 10+ wins.

That's easy when those schools play a patsy OOC schedule and beat up on a bunch of soft teams from within their own conference.

no more patsy than Clemson's OOC. SCSt, The Citadel? Shall I continue? And with 10 teams sporting winning records it's hard to find a "soft" team in the SEC.

it's really is a moot point unless your winning your conference and are in the natty picture.....however you are wrong. UGA actually had a winning record where as 5 of the 7 teams you beat in conference did not. Seriously, I'm not making this stuff up.

Missouri OOC - Murray St, Toledo, Ark St, and Indiana
Auburn OOC - Western Carolina, Florida International, Ark St, and WSU
Alabama OOC - Florida Atlantic, Chattanooga, Georgia State, and VT
LSU OOC - Furman, Kent St, UAB, and TCU

Idk who your team is because you are on a Clemson board, which is usually full of Clemson fans but since you are talking ####, we scheduled the big bad SEC for OOC games, not many can say that. Especially considering how scared everybody is of the SEC.

This happens every year and is incredibly frustrating. Polls shouldn't be released until eight weeks into the season. BR is crap anyway though so I don't put any credence into what they say.

polls, since it should be what a team is projected to look like. And then you go on to use instances from last season (Georgia's bad season, Florida's loss to GA Southern) as reasons why they shouldn't be ranked where they are. You're not really helping your case.
