A) Pay $940 dollar with two layovers and a total time of 23 hours on British Airlines. The layovers are not long enough to leave the airport really. They are at Heathrow and somewhere else.
B) Pay $690 and fly Turkish Air with one fast layover in Instanbul Turkey. Total time of 16 hours.
I think the time counts the difference in time zone as well which makes the trips sound longer.
Anyway, would you sabe money and time and land in Turkey for a bit. I chose Turkey, but it feels counterintuitive. . .

Going to land at the fridge and get my Turkey Sandwhich.
To answer your question though, yes I'd take the cheaper shorter flight. BIL works for airforce and spent time in Turkey. Got some kewl stuff but since you won't be there that long it probably won't matter.

Are there potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, sweet tater pie, and lots and lots of gravy?
If so, I would choose Turkey too.

Get there as fast as you can (Turkey)

Because Budapest is a f*cking awesome city and Turkish food >>>>> English food.
Also, if looking to pick up Hungarian ladies, tell them you play water polo - Vízilabdázom (or something like that). It's like their national sport.

And he should hurry so that he can spend as much time as possible in an awesome city as opposed to an airport.

Go with whatever gets you the most in the system you fly in (Star alliance, for instance).
I assume your going business class anyway.

I realize nothing will likely happen and that's why I bought the ticket. Just wondering what others would do.
