CBB should be fired. I hope he continues to make me eat crow because this team is really fun to watch. They also seem to run the floor more than any other CBB team that I remember (except maybe his first year with Stitt). He's got some great guards and they're coming up huge, and Thomas has improved greatly from last year.
Now let's get that Zion commitment...

Just saw some video of Zion playing. Can run and dunk. Can he shoot? Can he guard dudes his size? The guys playing against him in high school look like they belong in grammar school.

1. He has a nice outside shot, with a range extending to the three point line. 2. He has a lot of blocks as well. 3. He has played very well in all-star tournaments and AAU games.
There is a reason some scouts believe he is the best high school prospect since LeBron James. He would easily be our highest rated basketball signee ever.

I have been a strong Brownell supporter over the years, but even I have had my moments when I doubted his ability to turn things around. It has been frustrating at times, especially when we've been so very close over the past few years to winning several more gams and making the tournament.
The talent we've quietly assembled is very impressive. The team plays hard, as all Brownell teams do, but they also have the talent and skill to not only compete but win close games. I am excited to see what they do as we continue deeper into the conference schedule. I know we will have some losses along the way, but I think we will all be very pleased with where we stand at the end of the regular season.
We are definitely getting Zion.

And they've looked good; different.
It's been nice the way they've held up in tight games, games that they might have dropped in years passed.

With Ivory soap or Bourbon? Check yes on the latter. I do concur - this team looks different. Sometimes addition by subtraction works in mysterious ways (talking Jaron Blossingame)
You seem to be a more humble man since your 1 year hiatus to Jamaica after the Louisville game. The mange is better with you here - keeps me from wondering off into the lunge as much!

Haha, I don't third person as much, but it was fun watching people grind when I did it.

And YES! Bourbon is always the default!

coach to be fired. They think and see the game so much differently than the rest of us.
That being said, I have never questioned CBB's ability to actually coach. I've thought for a long time that he's gotten the best out of a lot of the players we've had. Now, I don't think we've necessarily recruited the best, which could be the dilemma. But that's another topic. We've pulled in a lot of transfers that have panned out.
However, you are 100% correct. This team is a ton of fun to watch and I love the fact that they expect to win when they take the floor. We have quality guard play, a solid inside game, and Grantham is having by far his best season. We are playing with a ton of confidence, and hopefully the students will get behind the team when they come back.
I'm pleased that they have shown the ability to fight back in several games, they've won low-scoring games, they've won shootouts. Hopefully we can keep it up and remain healthy. As painful as all those close losses were last year, it may very well be what has benefited this team to a great degree. Here's to hoping we beat NC State on Thursday and keep the momentum rolling!
Go Tigers!
