let's compare literacy numbers

Jan 25, 2014, 1:57 PM

According to several academic experts, the threshold for being college literate is a score of 400 on the SAT critical reading or writing test. On the ACT, that threshold is 16.

C.U.

Football

-- 34/199 scored below the threshold.

Men's basketball

-- 2/30 scored below the threshold.

Women's basketball

-- 7/26 scored below the threshold on all tests taken.

-- In total, that's 15.2%

UNC

Of the student-athletes who enrolled between 2004 and 2012 under the special-talent policies, 341 were recruited for football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball.
More than 90 percent (307) of these students met the CNN threshold.

Thirty-four of these student-athletes (9.97%) did not meet the threshold.

but why let the facts interfere with your opinion and lame jokes

I think you need to read deeper. And then post those stats.

Oops

He cant read either

Jan 25, 2014, 3:48 PM

Pour little displaced fella. Wait until Coach Smith passes-- then they will re-open the last25-30 years and the fan is going to hit the chit

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Even if the numbers supported your claim,

Jan 25, 2014, 4:17 PM [ in reply to let's compare literacy numbers ]

which they DO NOT, they mean nothing given the lack of academic integrity UNCheat is known for. Hence your attempt at a retort. Online classes and African-American studies say hello!

what claim?

Jan 27, 2014, 10:52 AM

i'm just tired of the lame 'can't read' jokes

Do the UNC players study for those fake classes?

Still reading deeper or do you need our assistance? I'm sure one of us, being the good guys that we are will be happy to post the real stats

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

bring it

Jan 26, 2014, 2:56 PM

pretend i'm from Missouri, show me

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

well?

Jan 27, 2014, 10:51 AM

still waiting for the "real" numbers or for you to explain to me how having less than 10% below the 'college literacy thresh hold' is worse than having more than 15% below the line

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It's pretty much established that UNCheat will change scores

Jan 26, 2014, 5:11 PM [ in reply to let's compare literacy numbers ]

Do you honest think we'd believe and report from the University about their player's performances on test?

That's rhetorical!

Funny how Clemson breaks every sport men and women scores down.

UNC lumps everybody together

Nice try hole

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

UNCheat players think 'illiterate bestard,' is redundant.***
