1. Jacob Hinderleiders glove at 1B. Dude is picking everything like Andrew Cox did and he’s not even a 1B. He’s a SS that’s just playing there so we can get his bat in the lineup because Ciufo has locked down SS and Nawrocki at 3B. Hinderleider like Ciufo and Eve Nawrocki saved multiple runs with his glove this weekend 👍

2. Team speed. We’re not stealing bases, so it’s not being talked about but we have guys that can flat out run and when they put the ball in play it’s putting a lot of pressure on the defense. We’ve had many infield hits so far

Albert Pujols was a pretty good FB who started as a SS. Good players find a way

I would like to see coach stick with pitchers that are rolling BUT they know what matchups they’re looking for

Answer to question#2.....seems we have resorted to the Monte Lee school of offense which says: "If you don't hit home runs, you don't score."

That's what I want to see. String together some singles, a double or 2, the occasional triple, and boom, then the HR.

I also was impressed with the Mathes SAC bunt Sunday. Nice, unselfish job, by the cleanup hitter.

Even more impressive was the following at bat, Obertop was down 0-2 and grounded out to SS to score a run to make it 3-2. Next batter Ciufo bloops it over first to tie it. That was good baseball

Team speed is showing up when we put the ball in play. Our speed really puts pressure on the defense.
