The nephew of Clemson great Perry Tuttle will choose to play anywhere else but Clemson ? For shame.

Probably exactly why he is considering everyone else.

You see this time and time again where the young man wants to create his own legacy and doesn't want to be known as so and so's nephew etc.

The nephew of Hershel Walker plays for us ... so that's okay

Milan Richard was at least as big a "get" for us as Shy Tuttle is for UT.
I honestly don't think that an uncle/nephew relationship is all that big a deal.
Father/son like Jay Rome? That's different.
At least we got Dan Benish's nephew to follow him here.

It was reported a while back that Clemson stopped recruiting him. The lazy comment I haven't heard, but I have seen people say academics/other isues were potentially part of it.

Not Pearman's fault, lazy player who will only be a career backup. After talking to Brooks the kid did not want to work that hard to get to a starting position. we also cooled on him after a couple of meetings with him.

Way to trash a kid just because he didn't want to come here

I'd love to have this kid on our roster, especially with how many guys we're losing off of the DLine after this year.

With how our D should finish this season on top. If BV can't get great D player at Clemson, it will be b/c it just wasn't meant to be. Just watch our D plays that will go to the NFL 2015 draft day.

I would like to think we could still land Albert Huggins, but even that, might be a test. #21

We dont want him. My youngest daughter says he dabbles in partying and is not a good character football player Dabo is looking for. The Dalton guy from West Forsyth hangs out with him and both of them have character issues. My daughter knew they were good football players but didn't know Clemson was recruiting them. They both have been telling thr other kids here they were going to Tennessee since last fall.
Crazy how kids know the deal. I'm sure it wasn't hard for Dabo to know. I hope they change and have great careers but don't count on it.

If you attended college and didn't "dabble in partying"

Then I honestly have no idea what you were doing.
I understand your point, but I hope you weren't trying to imply that partying/having a good time is causation for a kid having low character. If that is the standard I'm not sure we would have a football team nor any fans.
Let's not have sour grapes because he chose to go elsewhere.

It was much more than that. I was trying to be kind by not detailing. They were being physical with girls, lying and running scams from my understanding. When you know the kids that go to school, with them and they are in agreement about character. I went to college too, l was a lifeguard at Myrtle Beach on the ocean in the summers. I know college kids partying and this is more from what I was told. I went to Clemson my last two years of High school on campus and funneled, played quarters. I used to go to Zacks in Clemson and North Myrtle Beach.
