If we slow the game down and run the play clock down

to a couple of seconds once we were up 14 points on every play it would be hard to lose the game from there. I know that we don't normally do that but when you are 14 point dogs on the road you should. We maybe would have have 4 more possessions a piece from that point. Hard to lose a 14 point lead with 4 possessions a piece.

Our offensive success is based on the style we operate under. To change that is to reduce the chance of much of any offensive success.
Now lets assume we do only have four possessions... Our D is not very likely to stop them on more than maybe 1 of them. It's just not a wise idea

i dunno know how much more unsuccessful you can get.
BUT... by that same notion... in those positions if we slowed it down we would have ate what... 3-5 mins more off the clock.
Would we have won if FSU's offense had 5 mins less? I doubt it.
You think the defense would have gotten a lot better with 5 mins of rest? I don't.
So in the FSU instance.. running high tempo or low tempo late in the game wouldn't have changed the outcome.. At least in my opinion. Might as well stick with what you know.

We scored 3 points on our next 4 possessions, they scored 28. So it's really not that hard to lose a 14 point lead with 4 possessions left.

more minutes and we were only up 7, and its hard to run down the clock when you go 3 and out. You cheer and let the coaches coach.
