would the gentleman have interest in the USC job? The institution has yet to demonstrate it’s capable or desirable of supporting a national championship level program.

Um, pardon moi, but the real USC has won multiple Nattys. They just renovated the Coliseum, have plenty of resources, are in a major market (great for NIL), are located in a terrific recruiting part of the country, have a rich heritage, and IMHO, can definitely turn it around with a great coach.

They’re gonna try but not sure they can pull it off. Fickell is an Ohio guy and if Cinci makes the playoff this year, he could make the case it would be a legit step down.
