just because idiots keep saying DW was ahead of CS in the first game doesn't make it true. I'm not defending Dabo decision putting Cole in the driver's seat anymore. You believe what you want.

So idiots say Watson was ahead? I don't agree. Sorry. I guess I foolishly believe/expect that multiple coaches making an excess of a million dollars a year can adequately access talent better than in the Stoudt - Watson - Kelly spring period. Forgive me for having an opinion.

You brought the impeachment therefor you have the burden of proof. Just because you believe it doesn't make it so.

They said it a million times. They just didn't want to rush him, he won the starting job in week 3 of his true freshman year.

There is a big difference between practice and a high pressure game

I have no doubt Stoudt knew the playbook better preseason and he could easily have been great in practice. But we have seen Watson cool as a cucumber under real game pressure and Stoudt not so much. Coaches also often expect those jitters to calm down over time as they often do - such as with Catanzaro and apparently Lakip.

Watson broke his collar bone or something in the spring, right. He was probably a lil behind in reps n to coaches its a big deal especially with a true freshman, not knowing how he would respond. Im not defending Cole but that may had some effect. Before the spring injury they were neck n neck. Can't completely blame the coaches.

DW played against two good defenses this year...He played pretty much the entire FSU game as the coaches handed the keys to him, and Clemson moved the ball, but could only muster 17 points. He also played against an excellent Louisville defense, and looked entirely like a freshman before being knocked out of the game. DW looks like a natural, but he is still an 18 year old freshman, and Stoudt, while never a starter, has been in the system for 4 years. Its seems only logical that Stoudt or Kelly would start. In fact, if Kelly hadn't gotten booted, DW would probably have redshirted, and considering hes already had a broken collarbone and a broken finger, it might have been best that way. Dude is gonna be a player, but we dont want him broken before he turns 19 do we? And this offense has had so many injuries its gonna be tough for whoever is back there...Clemson had a totally green offense coming into the year, and heres the injuries the Tigers have had to deal with on offense (off the top of my head): QB: DW and Kelly got kicked off team. RB: Tyshon Dye, Zac Brooks, Adam Choice, and DJ Howard hasnt been right most of the time either. WR: Charone Peake, Priester booted. TE: Sam Cooper, Leggett, and Seckinger was injured, but is currently only healthy tight end. O-Line: whos left on the o-line? I think the backup RG Reid Webster played one vs 4 last game:P Its hard to believe Clemson is 6-2 with all the injuries on an offense that had very few starters back to begin with. Gotta luv how this team has held it together and strung some W's together^^
