He's a good player, but he is really small framed. Maybe too small to make it.

One or two big hits could do him in IMO.

Tajh is small too. The difference is that Tajh is 6'1" 225 and can take a lick and get right back up. Manziel is what? Maybe 6'0" and about 190 lbs tops?

You're right, he does have a small frame but so does Drew Brees. If he continues to run all over the place and be "Johnny Football" he will be done in the NFL in 3 years or less because I don't think he can withstand constant hits from NFL sized players. I'm talking SEC defensive linemen that have gotten BIGGER since leaving college. But if he can stay in the pocket more and prove himself as a pocket passer he will be fine in the NFL. That doesn't mean he needs to be Brady or Manning but look at RG3, he took a few good licks this year and missed some time because of it and you saw Shanahan shy away from all those designed runs because they don't want to lose their multi-million dollar man.

The days of QBs being exclusively 6'4"+ are over, though. I think Brees, Griffin, Wilson, Vick, and even Rodgers to an extent; all guys 6'2" or smaller, have changed the way people feel. If they can make the throws and make good decisions they deserve a shot. That's why I think players like Tajh Boyd and Johnny Manziel have a shot, whereas if they came out in 2003 or something they would be moved to other positions.
