I know he played, but either he was doubled teamed all night or he decided not to give much effort, because I did not hear his name the whole game. Did he have a single tackle or QB pressure?

Non factor. Their oc did what a good oc does. Schemed away from our strength. Novel concept because we don’t get to see that in action for the good guys.

Yep. They slanted their o O line in one direction, basically bottling him up in traffic and double teams, then the running back started that way and cut back to the other side where there was no one for 5-7 yards most times. We did a little better against that in the second half but they still ran it and took PWoo and for the most part Parker as well, out of the game.

That info; try it some time.

Defensive tackles don't generally have a lot of tackles; you can tell that they've been effective when the LBs and strong safeties have a lot of tackles; ours had quite a few. As for Pwoo he had 5 tackles which was more than double that of LSUs most productive tackle.

The defense played well enough to win; this loss is on the offense

Loss is on Cade. Played like a flustered freshman. This is not the first time he’s seen all out blitzes. There were wide open hot routes, he just didn’t find them or left the pocket right into their speedy LBs.

LSUs average time to throw was less than 2.5 seconds

A competent OC creates a game plan to help his QB and entire offense be successful.

LSUs defense blitzed almost 70% of the time. We had no real answer _ either in preparation or play calling. Garrett Riley might have gone fishing or played golf the last two weeks before the game.
