I hate to tell you, but SC's offense IS a form of the triple option. Their RPO read progression is, RB Give, QB Keep, QB pass.

It takes awhile to run that and the coots don't have the folks
they need to run it. Maybe they can get some Army players or
Navy to help them out.

If the ##### don’t cut block then shame on them. They need to see if we have learned our lesson. Installing the triple option ( not read optionRPO, which they already do) is tough to do on short notice. Teaching Oline to cut can be done in an afternoon. How to win against a cut block can be done in 5 minutes on the sideline. Step on a dudes neck or hand a few times and they won’t want to cut block anymore.

Teams that are at a disadvantage talent wise run the option because no one practices against it. Been that way forever. People need to lighten up about the Citadel game.
