It will be in no small part to the belly aching he’s had to endure here from ungrateful fans. I’m just thankful I will never have to be embarrassed by my comments on this site if I bump into him around town.

I know right. Boo hoo. I'm making millions trying to motivate teens to move a ball 100 yards but all those fans' comments.

There is a little more to the job. Also, nobody is really feeling sorry for Dabo. People think he is the luckiest man on Earth, it up there with the other most pleasant lives.

But, btw, the more of a substantial income some people seem to make, the less worth they seem place on those that make less.
Do you really think the wealthy have a respectable opinion of the poor? That’s based on money.

Yes. You can hold your head high if you see him at Schlotzky's and he's having a bad day.

He might try the NFL, but going to Jacksonville would be really dumb. That GM is a disaster, and the owner doesn't seem to care about fielding a winner.

it will be because the ACC has become THE dominant conference in college football and he doesn’t need the stress of the ACC grind every week. That’s why players like Carson Beck are leaving lower tier conferences like the SEC to showcase their skills against the very best.
Noter Dame is a great example, they weren’t even good enough to qualify for the ACCCG, much less win it, but they’re about to play for the natty. Dabo knows he can go to Jacksonville with a decent ACC roster and win that division. I wouldn’t blame him one bit.

Right! I agree 100%. It is amazing that someone posts a "what if" scenario about Dabo leaving for the NFL, and if you read six posts down the thread, Dabo has already got an agent and he is just gonna abandon Clemson...Geeez, some of you guys need to go get some exercise and get back to the real world.

- - - so I could squeeze in Dabo for an hour on Tuesday January 21. (I’ll be busy all day in Jan. 20th.).
Meeting time will start at 11:30 PM at which time I’ll tell him what to do.
Tell him I’ll be at Mar a Lago, as usual.

I don't think that Dabo gives a rat's patootie about what people write on TNet. As my dad used to say, "you'll stop worrying about what people think of you when you realize how seldom they do."

Dabo may be setting himself up after next year because it looks like slim pickings for our 2026 season unless we have a great recruiting year.

Tait Reynolds will take the job from Vizzina in 26 and the rest will fall into place.
The OL is going to be the biggest i can remember in 26.
WRs should still be pretty deep with Wesco, Moore, Brown and a few others in the 2 deep.
RB should be good to go with Gideon, Eziomume, and Henderson
DL might need some serious help specifically at end.
LBs I'm expecting big jumps from now. Brown, Kubah, and Crayton were highly sought after so talent is there, depth may come into question.
Cb as long as Mike Reed is in town they will be solid.
Safety depth may be a concern but Feagan and Jones are immensely talented.
I'm thinking as long as QB play does not fall off the cliff(Like it did with DJ) 2026 won't be a huge departure from the norm for Clemson.

Dabo would be horrible in the NFL. He's basically a father coaching his sons, no way in #### would he enjoy coaching the egos of grown men stuck in their ways in the NFL.

Dabo isn’t built for the NFL. He likes building men and preparing them for life. NFL doesn’t care about that at all. He might could be a position coach down the road if the college game continues to evolve into the NFL Jr League, but I don’t see him having any interest in a HC position.
