I don't know about that. The undefeated defending National Championship team is finding it pretty hard to get in the play offs. And we have learned time and time again, especially since ESECPN has put the SEC on their shoulders and walking them to the front of the line of the power five conferences. Big money rules without any shame, and without any concerns of who is watching. And, an undefeated Clemson without being the previous defending National Champions would find it very hard to get into an ESECPN guided 4 team play off. Hey, we don't make the rules as we go, big, big, and bigger money does, and has for the past 10/15 years.

Yes we would be number one. Only reason FSU is being punished is a poor national image and honestly I think the game vrs is really hurt them the most. Everyone who saw it knew they escaped with a miracle and we handled them. And same with gt when DW got hurt . Honestly we are the ACC s best, not fsu.
