Agreed. Maybe I'm not remembering 100% but I feel like a lot of chances Cade has taken down the field have at least been competitive.

drew pass interference calls. I’ll take those too. If teams are concerned about vertical passes, they’ll not crowd the line of scrimmage as much and our rbs will see better opportunities.

he just needs to stop telegraphing his throws. When the game finally slows down for him and he can go through his progressions he is going to be a dangerous QB. And is Brown not one of the most overlooked recruits in recent memory? Kid is a stud.

Nah just run through UNC’s soft defense and keep UNC’s offense off the field as long as possible. Don’t let Drake Maye score 40+ points

I'm in favor of throwing 10 yard slants and crossing/drag routes all day long - so long as The WRs find green grass and the OL gives the QB time to find them. Doing that will create plenty opportunities to throw deep slant/go, deep dig and post/fly routes. We need to establish the run to make the intermediate routes work and establish the intermediate threat to open up the deep threat. Once you can do that, anything works.
