The first time I ran into Stuart (Unknown Hinson) around Charlotte was at a vintage guitar shop I used to hang out in. Stuart was browsing around and I recognized him from his cable access show Wild Wild South. The owner introduced us and I said "Oh yeah, Unknown Hinson". He looked at me like I was nuts and said he had no idea what I was talking about. After he left, the owner told me that he won't acknowledge his real name when in character, or Unknown Hinson when he's not in character. He's kind of a strange guy, but he hit gold with the Unknown Hinson character until he blew it all up with his meltdown on Facebook over BLM and insulting Dolly Parton. Don't guess I've seen him in person now for 5 or 6 years.

Just a bad pic. Probably hungover. I saw an interview with him last week. He looked older, but he was still a handsome dude.
