One of the most interesting tours next year is the Double Trouble Double Vision Tour, featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner.

Why?

Because both bands are hitting the road without a single original member.

I'm sure if you go, you're going to get one hell of a show, but it is interesting to think about how bands could conceivably go on forever.

if any of the current members were members with any of the original members...it's still the band

if not, it's a cover band

If any of the current band recorded with an original
Member as part of the band, I could see that keeping band ongoing. But just because you toured with the original guitarist on a reunion tour before he retired or died doesn’t mean you make the band more than a cover band.

Still charging $500 for Hamilton tickets years after the original cast has left is ridiculous. At least you can see a decent Beatles cover band for $20
