Clemson has scored the most points out of any team in the ACC this year (234).
We’re 5-5.
Legitimately 1 play away from beating GT / DUKE and being in contention.
4/5 wins have also been against the bottom 4/5 teams in the ACC.
What on earth.

Regardless of how this season ends, I’d give Dabo a F+.
You have an open book test, great resources, and you’re one of the brightest kids in the country and you just don’t show up.

The 5 games lost come against teams with a combined record of 30-20.
The 5 games won come against teams with a combine record of 24-27.
Only played 1 team still ranked and lost (due to another "brain fart"). Not a ton of bright sides to this year other than beat FSU and potentially SC.

I don’t see our offense scoring more than 20 against the coot’s defense. We are gonna need TO’s, special teams scores and/or Scar imploding (always possible).

Sure, but if the 5 teams we beat had beaten us, they would be combined 29-22
and if the 5 teams that we lost had been wins, the teams would be combined 25-25

You could use that to put all the blame on the defense (they deserve their share), but we managed only ~ 20 pts/game against the top half of the ACC.
Riley’s offense has yet to be productive against above average competition. Texas is the only game I can remember, but they had a comfortable lead, so maybe not a great example.
We used to overwhelm opponents with speed, precision and big plays. Those days are long gone.

Those days are long gone.” … we no longer have the coaches (too many inexperienced friends and family) for the precision, and those with speed are few (too many choir boys on the roster) that are too slow ..

This year has followed our trend since 2021. We'll beat the pathetic teams most of the time and lose more often than not to the "decent" teams.
We're likely to be 1-4 vs P4 teams that finish 8+wins (assuming LSU/Duke/SMU/Ville get there)
Since 2021 we’re 10-17 vs P4/5 teams that finish w/ 8+ wins (this is assuming LSU, Duke, SMU, & Louisville finish there). Our OOC record vs P4/5 teams w/ 8+ wins is 1-8.................good thing we've been in the ACC over the last 5 years......it's insulated us.

It really takes the shine off of Dabo's stats about 10 win seasons and conference championships when you look at who we have played and who we have beaten (or not beaten).
As you posted, our record against power 4/5 teams since 2021 who have won 8+ games is really bad. We are winning just 37% of those games. Yikes!
