discussion board, just for discussion. I think if I were coach, I'd ask PJ to wait until an easy team, that we have no chance of losing to (like Georgia Tech let's say), until he shoots out of his slump. I do think it's key to get this done before the ACCT, but I am a little leery of him continuing to try to shoot out of his slump against UNC.
Also, I would ask Schieffelin not to turn the ball over four times in consecutive possessions in the last 2 minutes of the game. If he wants to do it earlier in the game, I'm ok with it.

As long as it's always a good play to pass it out for a 3 point shot 10' behind the line when you're down 1 with 7 seconds to play I'm good with these other suggestions.

You mean like the play Duke executed against us late, down 1, to draw the foul, take the lead, and win? Or was that just a lucky call that developed because they couldn't get the ball to a shooter beyond the arc who had missed every prior shot in the game instead?

He was 0-6. He was 7-8 on FTs
He was 1-6 vs UVA, but he had good misses. He was 10-12 on FTs.
Stay down low, draw fouls, and hit free throws.

At 6-10 I'd tell him his job is not to shoot the three but to get rebounds and be a lay up, alleyoop, foul drawing machine. He need to learn to use his size of he wants to develop into a better player. The UNC guy already called him out for being a big softie. Hall is huge. He has a LeBron type body but just isn't physical enough. He could be a bully and a force.

Is there such a thing as an easy win for this team in conference play?
I'd wouldn't mind seeing any of the 10+ lay ups missed on Saturday made instead but what can you do, right?
