We have not had a player who was a break away threat for several years. This part of our game could really help the offense.

What do you guys think?

downfield so they are on top of returner with just mediocre hang time. That's why we fair catch so much- blocking stinks

block a punt or set some blocks for the return man. I don't think I've seen a whole lot of either one of those this year.

We play conservative on punts

We have an explosive offense so we don't risk the big fumble (which has plagued Clemson under Dabo) and we don't rush because it's so easy to pick up a roughing call (see BC). We do give a free release to eliminate holding calls. We just want the ball back in DW4's hands as quickly as possible.

I never understood why not have to guys back and cover the entire field, to prevent long bounce rolls.

is a risk to return punts aggressively but with high risk can come great rewards.

IMO Clemson is very predictable when receiving punts.
