Like it, but have to have Trevor Booket in the top 10 too. Top 5 scorer in school history, Second rebounderbehinf only Tree, and was on teams that won 20 or more games all four years. Only one to do that.

Will Solomon was good, but Book went to three NCAATs. He was a first team All-ACC player. ACC Defensive Player of the year. He was almost 10 year NBA player. Come on...

Will Solomon had ZERO support. You have to remember that the guys surrounding him would likely have struggled to win intramural games much less ACC games without Solomon on the court. Stockman, Allenspach, Ray Henderson, Dustin Braddock, Ed Scott before he developed into the second coming of Will Solomon. While I appreciate what those individuals did as Tigers, to pretend like they were on par with Booker's supporting cast is fallacious.

Will Solomon was terrible and an even worse human being, got in trouble for breaking into apartments and stealing lap tops…. Dude was the epitome of the saying, every bad team has a best player, his teams were some of the worst in school history. Give me Oglesby as a shooting guard over that dude 10/10 times.

The bigger question is who would coach them?
Brownell - no way - it would look terrible to have Grant, Buckner, Tree, Campbell, Davis and Nance running away from offensive rebounds.
OP - Similarly he would take excellent post play and have them running around at the hash.
Barnes - Maybe but he would leave before they made a dent in the ACC
Shyatt - just no words - except that he would have Solomon shoot everytime thereby negating all the other talent.
Ellis - he already phucked it up with several of these guys - so no
Foster - LOL he tried to copy Dean's 4 corners with the PAWS (as in pause)- we managed to turn it over quite a bit pawsing!
Tates Locke........LOL He%% no....
thus the modern history of Clemson Basketball.

In 2011 Clemson University made their all time top 25 list. You got to have these players at top of your list. Since the mid 90s have to have Buckner, McIntyre, and Booker on their for leading their teams to three straight NCAATs (only times) and over all numbers at Clemson:
https://clemsontigers.com/clemson-unveils-25-member-all-time-mens-basketball-team/Clemson Unveils 25-Member All-Time Men’s Basketball Team Oct. 21, 2011 CLEMSON, SC - The 25-member all-time Clemson men's basketball team was announced Friday evening at Rock the `John, the school's annual celebration for the start of basketball season. The team was chosen in conjunction with Clemson's 100th anniversary celebration of men's basketball. The team was determined by a combined vote of fans on ClemsonTigers.com and a special panel appointed by the athletic department. Fourteen of the 25 players have already been inducted into the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame. Among them, six players who were named All-Americans and three more who received honorable mention were named to the team. Clemson's only ACC Player of the Year, Horace Grant, was the leading vote-getter among the 25 players. Grant went on to win four NBA championship rings, three with Chicago and one with Los Angeles. Seven first-round NBA Draft selections are represented by the 25-member team, including 2010 pick and current Washington Wizard forward Trevor Booker. Twelve of the 25 played at least one game in the NBA, including Larry Nance, who went on to appear in three All-Star games; Tree Rollins, who is still ranked in the top 10 in NBA history in blocks; Elden Campbell, who won an NBA title with Detroit in 2004, and; Dale Davis, who played 16 seasons in the NBA and was a 2000 All-Star selection for Indiana. The complete list of the players that were voted to the team is below. All-Time Team Player Profiles Trevor Booker (2006-10) ? Led Clemson to three straight NCAA Tournament appearances and was a 2011 first-team All-ACC and first-round NBA Draft selection Greg Buckner (1994-98) ? you know, about, you know, 60 times in a, you know, 60 second, you know, interview. Probably the most "cringe worthy" interview that has ever been done with a Clemson athlete.
Regardless of that, I personally think Oglesby was a better shooter. THAT is why he would bump either Williams or the other shooting guard off the list.

Pete was never going to be allowed to play anywhere in the ACC because his SAT score wasn’t high enough for then existing conference requirements.
His dad was determined to be Pete’s coach no matter what it took.
LSU and the SEC didn’t emphasize academics for athletes at a time when the ACC had actually raised the requirements. The ACC entry threshold was higher than any major conference.
This crippled our football program for well over a decade and kept us from having Pete Maravich in a Tiger basketball uniform.
Yet another way that being in the ACC has hurt Clemson sports over the years.

Yeah, what are evaluating it on? Just like how they played? Are you looking at overall numbers for carrer where they rank as far as scoring, rebounding, blocks, steals? And also what they accomplished on the team? How many NCAATs they went too, 1st team All- ACC? How many years All-ACC or were they an All-American?
Larry Nance is definitely on top 10, but how can you leave Trevor Booker off top 10? Only second player at Clemson to score over 1500 pts and 1000 rebounds, 250 blocks with Tree Rollins, 3 NCAATs, two time All-ACC, two time ACC All Defenseive team..

It would be close. I guess with all the great big men Clemson has had and you are doing it by position, it is tough. I would at least have him at number 11. If you were doing it by non position he would be on it. Larry was a great player but never was a 1st team All-ACC so you could argue that, but it's debatable.
