and I know it's not all on Cade, doesn't improve I believe Dabo will allow Riley to go fishing in the portal for next year's QB. I hope that Cade & the tigers figure it out as we advance. Go Tigers beat the rest of 'em!

I disagree. I think Dabo would rather die on that hill than get a starting QB from the portal.
We'll see. I hope I'm wrong. But I don't think so.

He'll point to Tyson and Johnson even though they were never brought in to play.
If he hasn't portal'd a starting or even 2nd string qb in the last 4 years, he's not going to do it in the next 4.

I hate to say it but I think you are right. He did eventually make coaching changes so maybe he ultimately will have a change of heart and selectively use the portal, but waiting too long only puts us further behind.

The fact that there isn’t a quarterback on the roster, who could step in if Kate can’t get the job done… Speaks worlds to the poor QB evaluation has been done since Trevor Lawrence left.

Both 5*. I've seen numbers suggesting 63% of 5* players are drafted in the NFL. So I don't think the evaluation can be faulted except for maybe not being a proper system fit. That leaves us with development AND the offensive system they use

I'm not going to go into whether or not Cade is the answer, but I will say that college QB position is very different these days. Deshaun was one of those that broke the mold but it looks like we are sticking with an old-school approach.
