Louisville quit. And I will never understand why UNC was determined to let a freshman QB keep throwing as opposed to leaning on the conference leader in rushing.

Mac Brown always starts out big, then fizzles to mediocrity.

When you win your conference title, it should mean something. Hasn't that been the big debate this year?

Just seems Louisville and UNC gave ammo to the talking heads that constantly berate the ACC.

Do forgive me for posting my thoughts about a matter. I guess that's never happened here before.

These teams do not 7 or 8 injuries or more. They instead have 7 or 8 opt outs or transfer outs. We are just watching kamakaze scrimmages sprinkled with fan fare and a little glitz......THATS IT. Pick up your check and parting prizes when you leave.

You can’t blame the ACC for Maye sitting out. It is 100% about money now. That is totally obvious. No playoff, no givacrap. At what point will players sit the playoffs?
How many have watched even 3/4 of a bowl game? At what point does the corporate world realize that the bowl games aren’t helping their marketing as much as promised?
Now, Duke’s mayo has actually benefitted since they have expanded to all 48 lower states whilst getting ridiculed. I’m super happy to be able to buy it locally rather than risk a suitcase blowout.
In the meantime, the major bowl sponsors are reaching the same audience that the Spring Game draws and apparently aren’t bright enough to stop the blood flow or signed stupid contracts. Sorta like our dilemma with the ACC, is it not?
It’s like 3 year olds with credit cards these days…

Clemson beat Florida State all night long and lost on a couple stupid decisions late.

Second thought, losing to Duke by 3 TD may have been worse. Guess it is debatable.

Point being Tigers should have been on top of the conference of mediocre teams, not lost n the middle.
