I was listening to Coach Venables' response to a reporter's

question about the last play. The reporter asked him specifically about blitzing on that play. BV said,"You know when you run that blitz that you are giving up the pass underneath and you just hope your corner can make the play".

Well, I was thinking(Dangerous on my part, but I was) about the last play down here two years ago where the D said Coach Venables called time just before the last play and TOLD THEM what they(Louisvlle was going to run), which they did. And just like Saturday night, we stopped them.

What I was thinking was, did Coach V bait Jackson into throwing that ball in the flat, betting on the fact that Edmunds would make the play. If you watch the replay, Edmumds went with the downfield receiver for about a count and a half, but still watching the underneath receiver. He broke early, worked him inside out and used the sideline to help make the tackle.

Team and coaches putting us in the position to win and executing as opposed to leaving to chance and getting lucky like some people think. There's a reason we win big games now, even close ones. We have the personnel and are coached to a t.

Although many argue BV is too aggressive, when we are we Always have a second man in position. We also generally know what an a opponent is going to do. It's excellent coaching and discipline.
