I was 13 when Clemson won the NC in 81 and enjoyed that year

riding around each Saturday with my father on the rural route in Chesterfield. We would sit on a hill on a dirt road for better reception on the AM radio, drink us a cola and eat some four-corner nabs for about an hour. My son is three and he is becoming a Clemson fan, I want a NC soon but I want several so he and I can sit close to the radio or TV, with a fire and the grill going with chicken wings, shrimp or bbq back bone and just enjoy the season. Sammy Watkins is his favorite player now.

I worked at the Tiger Den out on 123 and spent a lot of Saturday's there while the games were being played. The games were always on either Radio or TV. After the game, the place would always be packed to the gills and we bartenders worked our butts off for several hours. Still good times with a happy crowd. During the Orange bowl, there were only a handful of people watching, including my future and still is wife. The doors just exploded with fans after the game and her volunteered help during the rush helped make it through. Good times, great memories. GOOO TIGERS!!!

managed to enhance its level of static with the upgrades and change of frequency to the point that I can't hear a word they say in areas where it used to be clear.

in a marina with my sailboat docked there - I made my living teaching Marine science under sail back then, the second of my careers - now in my fourth. I did the townie route in Chesterfield on a bicycle when I was 9 and ten. My dad was the AG. Econ. agent there, after GI bill at Clemson, and then I went there in 62,graduating in 66. following my bro. who played football for Tigers earlier. GO TIGERs! THE D AND MORE BALL CONTROL OFFENSE WILL CARRY US ALL THE WAY

Hey I was at Clemson from 1962 to 1966 also. Was a football manager. Looking forward to running down the hill at the UNC reunion weekend. If you are from Chesterfield, we might have played HS football against each other. I am from Fort Mill, live in GA now.

I was twelve. Sat on the floor warching the tv broadcast with my family ...still one of the best memories of my life. The feeling I got watching my momma cry after the final play was euphoric ...it made me a Tiger fan forever and ever.

I was 12 and very fortunate in that my family got to travel to Miami on a plane (me and my siblings first plane ride) from GSP for our Orange Bowl trip. It was our vacation for two years worth as we were/are middle class. But when you are that young you think another NC will come soon. Never would I have thought that 33 years later we would not have another. At 45 I would be very appreciative to have only one more in my life time. I think Dabo and staff are the group to get the job done in the next three years. Go Tigers! This game and my Dogs beating the coots when I was a cadet were my two best ever sporting events.

Non-Clemson fan but I did get to watch every home game of the national championship season from the sidelines. Was a student at Anderson University and worked at Memorial Stadium as a rent-a-cop.

school, but did not miss FB and Basketball games plus a lot of baseball games. thanks for asking though Football Manager! Did Jimmy The Stick Addison play in '66? I think he could have been great if Howard would allow passing?
