Clemson is at #4 and Louisville is at #3 even though Clemson beat Louisville, is undefeated, and is 3-0 vs teams in the FPI Top 10 (by far the best resume of any team in the country). To make matters worse, Ole Miss at 3-5 is 14th. Are you kidding me! They really need to revisit their algorithm to determine these rankings.

To make fun of ESPN...they thought that thing would be the next big thing and it's a total bust. I recall Jay Bills making fun of it last year.
I also saw a Kentucky post where they are ranked we'll below Miss St, vandy and The gamecocks, despite beating all 3 and having better records

Are they still getting credit for winning at Bama last year?
Using FPI's own rankings Ole Miss has wins over #42, #67, and an FCS team.
Losses against #1, #6, #8, #10, #47.
So they've lost to mostly good teams, but just playing a good team shouldn't make you a good team. Especially when 3 of those 4 losses are by double digits, and in the 'close' loss they were down 18 with about 3 minutes left, so they were never in a position to win any of those late.
That's 1-1 vs teams in the 40's, 0-4 vs teams better than 40's, and 2-0 vs teams worse than 40's. Seems like they should be in the 40's. Maybe give them a little credit for not getting completely blown out by top 10 teams and blowing out #42, so maybe I could see them around 35 or so. 14th????
