Instead of TUs only (aka Brownie points) I enjoy # of readers

of my posts equally as well, thus I advocate that number of readers can be more satisfying than TU’s since each poster has his/her/their little band of in-house buddies that they will point up just for the sake of friendship and/or support of a favorite TNetter.

High Readership numbers over high (or low) brownie point numbers could mean that:

1. The subject matter was interesting, unique or meaningful.

2. The “heading” was eye-appearing (as was the subject matter if mentioned in heading),

Also, The number of readers of one’s works is what helps make authors rich, famous or infamous, hired, sought after, etc more so than a few kudos when all is said and done.

Saying, when I have delightfully seen where many many thousands (4000 to maybe 6000+) of TigerNetters have read just one of my posts/ articles, especially if I’d spent hours researching the subject and then more time typing it out for you & others to read & hopefully to enjoy or learn from it..

then the fact that so many unexpectedly read my personal dribble resonates the author in me much more than the 0 to182 TU’s per article, or the POTD or HOF numbers accrued due to your appreciated generosity.

And that’s the truth..numbers over brownie points any day but praise is good for sure too!

PS: If you’ve noticed, TU’s are sometimes given as seldom as automotive drivers in front of you give a turn sign..not often or enough, since both parties have lazy hands or fingers. Ha..

Well, he did put a 1 in the spread. So, i guess he is covered. Maybe 0-1 would have been more accurate. And i was impressed with his stating that he spends weeks researching what he spits out. I thought most of it was just bs off the top of his head with no time exerted.😉😁😄😃😀🤣😉

I average between 0-250 TUs per post, so I know exactly what it's like.***

For those of you who have been giving Brownie points to a person who doesn't want them, I'll take them. So start giving LLB Brownie points to me. Unlike LLB, I don't care if you read my drivel or not. Just the Brownie points and you skip the reading part.
Brownie points look like this:
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Honestly, I don't think of either.

80% of the posts I click on I don't even realize who the poster is until after I click on it. Then, from the content (or the Icon) I can recognize the poster.

And, I am horrible about giving thumbs up. I do so, but not nearly as often as I should. I don't think I have ever given a thumbs down.

I give awards, but not as often as I should. I have no idea how many TUs I have. I have no idea how many points I have to give awards.
