now why the team appears lost and unprepared. ‘Family’ football staff: https://clemsontigers.com/clemson-football-family-staff/ I hate to admit it, but GA’s pregame warm up was very impressive. Purposeful, energetic with lots of coaches that appeared knowledgeable and were pushing and challenging the team. No stand around time. They were prepared and ready! I have supported Dabo from day 1 but for the first time I am afraid he has lost his way.

I have been a big Clemson fan my whole life. ‘84 Clemson graduate and sons/daughter-in-laws all Clemson grads. Have the tickets my dad had for almost 60 years. This is the first time I have ever doubted what Dabo is doing.

Kyle Parker, Cole Stout, & KB2.
He started Stout over DW4 and KB2 over TL16.
And this is the first time you’re doubting? Ok.

All of the Major bowl and CFP success was during and following the events of which you criticize him. Strange that you choose to use those as critical examples rather than viewing as working a freshman into the mix. Kelly, for example, had taken us to the CFP the year before. Coach DS was right, because Kelly never played another snap. He instead chose to quit the team when Dabo told him Trevor had earned the right to start a game.

That was an uncalled for comment. He's right, I've heard ga works everybody hard and demanding of every player. Not saying it's a right way or wrong way, but it was like that around here for a long time with Scott and cbv.
Attention to the little details is what won us 2 nattys and it's also what cost us to look as inept as we did Saturday.
That said, it always comes back to the Jimmy's and Joe's.

And Dabo has lost his edge? Geez now I'm not sure how Geoff Collins didn't win a natty at GA Tech. I mean they used to pump iron on the sidelines before games; now that's purposeful and energetic! Maybe if we hired the guys from "Step it up 4 - step up revolution" to choreograph our pregame; that'd get us back on track.
I'm sure jawjas success had nothing to do with the fact that they have NFL players at every position.

Whoa, I might not have recognized Cole without the caption. Not a bad look for him, but he's only 31. Sucks going bald that young, especially when you have good hair like he did.

PRE GAME? What were you watching, they didn't do anything special. They warmed up, they ran thru a few scripted plays, they kicked, they punted... what else did they do that sooooooo impressed you?
You don't like families? You went out of your way to point out that Clemson coaches and staff's have families... and criticize that fact and say that we should only hire coaches and staff that have no family?
Are you nuts?

to the idea that it's preferable having assistants with 1 priority w/o the hinderance of the responsibility and time consumption associated with having a family. Divorce rate high among Saban's assistants throughout career particularly at Mich St.

I think the issue is more surrounding the fact that some of these guys would appear in multiple photos rather than the fact they were family men.

Any business that filled roles primarily with friends and family would be out of business inside of 5 years. It’s a move you only make if you’re shamelessly playing with other people’s money.

But they're are plenty of family owned and run businesses just in the Greenville area that have been around for 50+ years. You should clarify your statement by saying "friends and family who don't have any experience and no clue what they are doing."

Our Current WR coaches include one of Swinney's kids....

.....and über garbage QB, Cole Stoudt.
I'm REEEEEEEEALY beginning to think that these former players wash out somewhere only to later show up to Dabo for employment.
Ben Boulware Tyler Grisham * Brandon Streeter * CJ Spiller * Deandre McDaniel Daquan Bowers Tajh Boyd * Daniel Boyd Cole Stoudt * Tyrone Crowder * Drew Swinney * Nolan Turner Hunter Johnson*
....and who's working with the ultra-s4itty WRs room? - Drew Swinney - Tyler Grisham - Cole Stoudt (who I swear threw more INT's that even DJU)
Put that into thought: Ohio State has the top WR coach in the nation who routinely pulls the top WRs EVERY YEAR. We have Grisham and Drew Swinney and Cole Stoudt.
We're f'ked. You can admit it now.

We had one bad half, and shot ourselves in the foot numerous times, all day, against the best team in the country. Go ahead and bail on the season if you wish, I want to see what happens the rest of the way.

Gross, Drew Swinney, and Cole Stout are the ones running the WR room. Makes so much sense now why we have regressed to this level in that position. Time to clean house and hire professionals. We’ve gone from a football Mecca to a DIY disaster thanks to nepo hires like these

Holy crap, I didn't realize it was fully like THIS. Clemson has TWO teams. The on-field team and the administrative team. Or is it three if you count the practice squad?
