because I was traveling that very weekend. Fortunately we were slumming it on Silver and they were able to get a flight down there to pick us up, had we been on Delta United I might still be sipping pina coladas.

Actually wasn't crazy expensive to charter a flight home to FL (4K) that was my backup plan.

15 years as an engineer overseeing their maintenance program. Wild catching up with him about it. By jets they operate theyre the largest airline in the world or something like that and put so many miles on the engines the manufacturers like working with them on issues they find because they're usually the first to see it come up. Solid operation.
