So Rex Ryan said that if he were the HC of the Jets, he would end Rodger's Country Club. He is interviewing this week for the Jet's HC position. BUT WHAT IF?

Seth Ryan played under Dabo. Rex still has a fire inside him. His defensive schemes are a bit complex, a la Kevin Steele, but Rex knows how to coach people up. He was around the program for several years.

I for one wouldn't be upset!

Would love to have Rex Ryan as DC. Think it is a pipe dream but unless you ask you don't know. I know he wants the Jets gig bad but if they don't offer we should go after him.

I agree it is a longshot. To be honest, most splash hires are. With the media bias, and some of the things that have happened in recent years, landing a DC who has Top-10 potential is going to be tough.

I joked with a friend of mine the other day, if we could pull Frank Beamer to be our Special Team's coach with Sebastian Jankowski coaching our kickers specifically, and Saban to come coach the defense, we would have the best staff AARP could buy.

They wanna coach ball not kiss players' azzzes. Belichick can somewhat avoid that by letting his minions recruit but a coordinator is all in on recruiting.
