I believe it is. As they say he was only a few plays away from have a much better season. Also, unless we get a miracle he will be able to point to a victory over us.

All of SC's losses have come against very good, ranked SEC teams. Also, SC cannot afford the buyout, financially or for appearances. With Clemson's injuries and inconsistent play, I am not optimistic either.

he's gone on the following Sunday. If he beats Clemson then I think he survives for another season.
That epic choke job game this past weekend really put his rep on life support. He'll put everything he has into that Clemson game. They'll show up with reckless abandon and if they lose... to the weakest Clemson team that he's ever faced. Then it'll be curtains for Beamer Ball in armpit land. I kinda would hate to see him go but its getting close.

They'd be crazy to get rid of him and told all my coot friends the same thing. I'm a beamer fan, no matter how many times y'all want to TD me. He and his family are good people. If for whatever reason, something happened to Dabo, I'd love to have him as our coach. He could step in and continue Dabo's culture.

Yep don’t want him. Don’t doubt he is good people but comes across as a whiner. Reminds me of a spoiled kid. Being at Va Tech growing up and his dad being the coach I can see how that was a possibility.

IF they fire him, who's gonna want that job? They couldn't hardly give it away the last time or two they had an opening. Sometimes you have to clean the mirror before you look in it so you can clearly see that you're not actually settling and they're the best you can do. Let's face it, Columbia is where coaching careers go to die.

Barring a miracle it's hard to see Beamer lasting beyond next year. He'll enter next season on the hotseat. That won't make landing a quality OC, or anyone else, easy. Few good coaches are going to want to relocate for what they think may be one season before the head coach gets his walking papers.
