The funny part is nobody mentioned we could have easily only lost one game last season, we were our worst enemy lol.
The lawsuit plays a big role in this but we will prove the haters wrong again, underdog role takes us to the Championship again! Let’s go!

I don’t know who that Sheehan guy is and Jerry Palm needs to stick with basketball (that knows something about). Typical CBS sports people. What a bunch of douchebags.

So who is Shehan Jeyarajah???? I'd say he is grossly overrated for thinking ANYONE cares what he thinks. Not exactly a sports legend on the tip of everyone's tongue! READ IT GUYS, READ IT ALL......

The only person of note on that panel is former coach Chip Patterson and he provided the best analysis. The rest are clowns. I used to expect more from a major network, but that is the caliber of analysts you get these days.

I think Dodd hits the nail on the head regarding ACC contract with ESPN

The ACC and a lot of people just assume its a given that ESPN is going to extend the contract. However, when you think about it business wise, does this really make financial sense for ESPN, with the uncertainty of the ACC losing FSU and Clemson and possibly others, for them to extend the contract? I think most would agree that its not a matter of "if" but "when" FSU and Clemson decide to leave the conference. Additionally, will others join FSU and CU when they leave? That said, without these 2 brands and possibly others, one would assume that the value of the ACC contract would be less than it is now. So, why would ESPN want to extend the current contract at current value with so much uncertainty when they would have a chance in 2027 to renegotiate with possibly a lower value or additional language to protect themselves? Disney/ABC/ESPN, as evidenced by recent financial moves, is looking for ways to cut costs, so this would just make sense to me at least.

It's hard to believe ESPN isn't making a boatload of money off the ACC contract. Why would they let the conference off the hook now? I don't see how they spend any less or make any more in renegotiation.
