If TCU manages to win out and make the CFP

first, I'll be bummed, because that might mean we're out. But second, I'll definitely be pulling for them. Great story and fun to watch team, and also some new blood in the CFP. Other than Clemson, I always pull for the underdog, and they would definitely qualify. I thought for sure that Baylor had them on Saturday, but they didn't quit and that last second kick was something else the way they hustled everyone out there and put it through the uprights.

It reminded me a bit of our last drive to beat Alabama in 2017

in that it looked like poor clock management until the very end. Then it looked brilliant.

Doesn't mean we are out. USC and TCU would have to win out for us to be out. I think this is the year that only one team from each conference will be in the CFP, Michigan/OSU have been playing like #### lately and we have been playing somewhat better. If we improve and win out next two games with a good margin, we are in if one of TCU/USC loses. And even then we may not be fully out as it could be up to the committee to put us or USC in... Toss up.

I dont understand how Ohio State and Michigan have played like doo doo. I agree Ohio State has played poorly in 3 of the last 4 games. They sleepwalked into Maryland and were lucky to come out on top.Yet, they have won every game this year by double digits. Michigan has won each of the last 5 games by at least 22 points (excluding against Illinois). Seeing how most of the top teams struggled last week, I am thankful for a win, Its been difficult figuring out how good each of the top teams is this year. I guess we wait and see and hopefully (for me) Ohio State makes it to the playoff.

Yeah , they're a great story but their competition this year has been weak. A weaker schedule than ours. At the time, it looked awesome because of past years. But Oklahoma, OKst, and Texas were way down. Baylor on par with NC State (who took it to Texas tech).
We've looked bad in spots on offense but with the exception of the wake game, our D has been stellar. We got cute in the fla st game and played backup.
The ND game our D did OK. That was all on Streeter and weather played a small factor. Tcu gets crushed in the cfp.

Reminds me of our game against the Dawgs when we got the safety and drove down for a field goal. Had no time outs and had to rush kicking team on field at last of game.

Still pissed Baylor just stopped playing in the last three minutes. They didn't even try to get a first down to run out the clock. Just vanilla runs up the middle. Their more daring offense had carried the day. And their defense fell apart on TCU'S last two drives. One team plays desperate football, the other team retreats, guess who wins? Seen it happen often in many NFL and college games over the years.
