Took some getting used to. His sideline demeanor was the most intense I've ever seen and then the addition of the "get back guy" just made it funny, not scary.
I love his ability to adapt schemes, even mid-game, and no one game plans better for bowls and playoffs.
His kid ain't too bad either.

We’re the first thing that jumped out at me. That and the intensity. Steel just couldn’t or wouldn’t adapt to what the other team’s offense was doing. Used to drive me insane.

There might be room for discussion about if the Clemson Tiger 2018 team is the best of all time, but there is absolutely no doubt that this coaching staff is the best of all time!

Coach V was the best linebacker coach in the country at Ok. Their stupidity in letting him go is our gain because now he is the best D Coordinator in the country, hands down.

Replacing Steele was one of the better things to happen to the Clemson program. I don't know how he would have even been on Dabo's staff. If you talk to former players at schools like Nebraska when they were at the top of the football world, Steele was a turd. He did recruit Tommie Frazier, but the players all hated him and it was mostly because he was just not a very friendly guy. He walked past everyone and wouldn't even say hello or anything.
Glad he's at Auburn now.

My favorite Clemson coach of all time among many great ones including HC's Swinney and Ford. But then I played high school Defense and have always loved Defense. Thanks for what you do BV and thanks for your exceptional coach and team building repertoire Coach Swinney!
