Good luck Ngata. I see him going undrafted, maybe signed as a Free Agent, Practice Squad at best unfortunately. He just never developed into an NFL prospect. Running a 4.5 40 aint it. Had there been better QB who could consistently throw he mighta had more to show

You were wrong months ago and still wrong today. It all has to work, blocking, running routes, throwing and catching and sometimes it just doesn't.

Not saying he was perfect but he’d have more to show if kets say Cade threw to him all season. Those are the facts. Look at his stats for the last few seasons. Which of our WRs had highlight reel seasons?!

I believe DJ took the hearts out of our better WRs.

You run a route a thousand times until you get it and the timing downpat, perfect, then that play is called during a game and you're doing it perfectly, turn your head looking for the ball and the safety is over the top and a corner is on you like white on rice, all because DJ never took his eyes off you.

I'm telling you, that guy took the heart out of our program and our coaches had to dumbdown the playbook because he was a psyco who couldn't find his butt with a road map, flashlight and both hands after the ball was snapped.

I'd rather have spent the season with the crabs than have him behind center.

Re: I said it months ago: our WR’s were the weakest unit

You have not watched Clemson FB, or failed to comprehend what you saw, if you blame the past 2 years’ passing game short-comings entirely on DJU.

Our WR unit was the worst on our entire team the past 2 years, with PFF ratings being the quantities data to prove this. (WR unit did improve from 2022 vs 2021, as PFF ratings reveal.)

Our QB unit was very poor in 2021, but pretty good for 2022. Again, PFF ratings tell the story.

Finally, our OL unit was poor overall in 2021, but improved noticeably in 2022.

Not entirely a coincidence, our QB play, which was also very poor in 2021, magically improved as our WR and OL units got better.

Xxxxxxxxxxxxx

The good news is that our WR unit, along with OL, will be ready next year. If QB play can keep up, then we’ll enjoy some good offensive performances next year.
