I said it a few days ago and after more thought on it

Sep 3, 2014, 2:07 PM

I'm gonna say it again. Morris should call plays from the booth. Get up high and see what's going on down on the field from a holistic view. Maybe in the UGA game he's sees something, a weakness or hole in the UGA D and takes advantage of it. Just another opinion of the hundreds on here.

Just spit ballin'

Agree, but he is definately a sidelines type of coach.

How do you figure that?

Sep 3, 2014, 2:20 PM

What makes a "sidelines type of coach"?

Sep 3, 2014, 2:24 PM

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Those coaches that have/need........

"hands on", "in your face" communication with the offensive players.

Well, with my limited knowledge of coot logic, coots think

Sep 3, 2014, 3:04 PM [ in reply to How do you figure that? ]

coaches should be near each other on the sidelines to solve disagreements with their fists.

There's something in these hills.

Agree, Morris should try being in the booth. Morris could be in the booth relaying plays to Jeff Scott, since some believe he is an offensive coordinator in training, and let him call the play in on the field.

Somebody is up in the booth talking to Chad and Dabo

Sep 3, 2014, 2:27 PM

They certainly aren't wearing headsets just to make a fashion statement.

While that's true, that person is only telling morris what he sees. I think morris would be better off seeing it for himself and telling someone on the sideline what play to run.

Two schools of thought depending upon the type of coach

Sep 3, 2014, 2:23 PM

Is a coach the emotional type or is he more analytical

The analytical type coach likely prefers working from a booth so he can see the entire field and block out distractions; similar to watching film.

For the emotional coaches, who like to scream and yell, being on the sideline gives them a better feel for the game and allows direct communication with the players so they can see the urgency in the coaches eyes and hear the tone in their voices.

The bottom line is there's no definitive answer

Tu, BigCU.....we have Dabo on the sideline for motivation......Chad in the box is worth a try.

Btw, this joey character is so obviously a troll, I cannot believe he hasn't gotten the hammer of Crump yet...

Chad was yelling at something last week. It was weird.***

Chad Morris is super analytical. He likes to ###### his plays based on situations.

All Tigernet eyes are in the stands, so it must be the best place to see the game. The booth would have to be better! lol

Going to say it again. . Clemson will beat uga... if we can hold Gurley to under 290 all purpose yards...

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

Sep 3, 2014, 3:13 PM

He had 290 All purpose yards because our O couldn't stay on the field. Our D was absolutely, 100% not the problem!!

17 points through 3 1/2 quarters. Held UGA to 127 yards at the half. Held Gurley to 94 yards rushing through 3 quarters. D was not the issue.

Gurley had 100 yards rushing in the 4th quarter alone on 4 carries.

Had we sustained drives and given the D a chance to breath they likely do not give up the world in the 4th quarter with fresher legs and energy.

Quit blaming the D!!!
