I expect nothing less form old Bernie, he is a true gem of the left. He is showing the way on that $15 minimum wage after being called out originally. Now it is cut hour, man he may just wake up to living in the real world yet. Here is the real plank of the leftists agenda, you will have several part time jobs, some ObamaCare or "free" Medicare, several roomates and live largely broke. Hey you may get some free tuition so at least you will be an educated broke person.

there is no such thing as free medicare, you are smarter than that. Sanders even admitted that he would raise taxes on the middle class to accomplish this, but you would recoup the savings in lower overall health care costs vs increase in medicare tax.
Right now it covers the least healthy among us and it only takes 2.9% of our pay checks. I say lower the eligibility requirement to 50 and see what happens.
If your employer is paying 7k for your health insurance, and you become eligible, then you get a 7k raise in salary.

I would personally not recoup a thing and would end up with FAR inferior coverage at a much higher outlay per year in taxes.

Your employer is NOT going to pass along that insurance premiun cost to your paycheck as in all the plans they will be paying far higher contributions to fund that Medicare plan for all.

you are only thinking about yourself, and not the good of the country. Sure, if you make over 100k then it would be less advantageous for you. But the last I checked the household median is around 55k. Those are the people who work hard and are struggling, it would help them tremendously. I have no problem paying for this, just like I do have not problem paying 2.85 for a cup of coffee at Starbucks, leaving my waitress a 30% tip, or my taxes paying for the evangelical family with 6 kids to get a free public education to the tune of 8k a child, per year.
But I sense a lot of you have had and anything resembling empathy conditioned out of you with this nonsensical argument about self reliance and personal responsibility. It is just a way of demonizing the poor and alleviating yourself from your own cognitive dissonance. Because in my opinion, poverty is not a lack of money, it is a lack of opportunity and resources.
But keep going on about how well off you are and how you deserve it though your belief in your superior intelligence and hard work. I bet that gets you to sleep at night.

it was a shiddy legislation because the insurance companies insited that it got rid of the public option and ram the mandate down our throats, basically making them even more profitable than they were before the law was passed. The only good thing that came out of it was not being able to discriminate based on pre existing conditions.

To add insult to injury to middle class working people being taxed more the dem bootstrap their employers causing them to be laid off. Yeah, you have the moral high ground, Robin Hood.

Balm, you think we will somehow figure out how to avoid all those taxes EVERY country that has that stuff inflicts on the public? You are either in denial or have drunk deeply from the Kool-Aid because those very same taxes on everythiung will be needed here. You are smarter than that and need to stop being so partisan on it.

You are also making a huge assumption that it would be better for the Country. Once you/they get a load of the taxes you and they may disagree. Where we differ is I have actually looked at how they find stuff in other places and you either prefer to swallow the line or choose to remain ignorant.

Before this is over, Biden will be a racist perv. Sanders will be a 79 year old socialist who doesn’t even follow his own programs. Warren is a socialist white woman who claims to be a minority to further her career. Those are the front runners today. After, maybe Harris?

Geez...when are you guys going to learn to read. Sanders employees are paid $36,000 a year ($17.30) plus 100% employer paid healthcare.
In an effort for employees not to drop below $15 their hours are cut so as not to fall below that threshold. They also get paid vacation and paid sick leave.
Whenever you guys stop reading the right wing propaganda machines, you might begin to learn the facts.
Look at it this way, for a Presidential candidate who's mantra is $15 minimum wage, how stupid would he have to be to pay his own staff at least that?
Learn to think dudes and dudettes!
