I Respect the Job that Coach "O" has Done at LSU

Jan 13, 2020, 10:52 AM

He came into a similar situation as Dabo. He made the necessary changes to the coaching staff, recruited well, got the players to believe, got the fan base to believe, and turned them into a championship caliber football team. Sound familiar? Win or lose tonight, I am curious to see what happens to their team over the next 10 years. I would love another good rival to go along with Alabama. Like Clemson and Alabama, I think he is building a great program.
Go Clemson Tigers!!! 35-27

But those fans.
Maybe they’ll get better after they’ve been there for awhile.
But I think they will get worse.

They are bad. Hopefully they will take his lead. Coach "O" always seems like a good winner and loser.

Agreed- somewhat. To me LSU seems like a fluke. They are a senior-laden team and hit everything at the right time in regards to the "perfect storm" of a season. If they can sustain this success after the heavy personnel losses they will suffer next year, including losing Burrow, then I'll agree. Pre-emptive imo at this point though.

Burrow and starting CB Fulton and Seniors, other then 2 O-line starters the rest on the LSU starting players are Juniors/Sophomores. With 11 seniors total, this is far from a Senior-Laden program. Like Coach O says "we comming".

Y’all just be talking out the side of your neck on this forum. This team is made up primarily of Sophomores and Juniors. Burrow, Fulton, Divinity and a few linemen makeup the class.

... until I read today’s “Hate” article over on STS.

Worth taking a look if you haven't already.

Everyone on the planet knows that without Burrow, LSU would not even be in the CFP, and coach O would just be another coach. If confused, check how well he did at Ole Miss.

I do NOT care how they fare in the next 12 years

Maybe re-read the OP as he was asking about coach O. Stating that LSU will not be good next year, or any year other than THIS year (with JB), confirms that we don't think coach O is all that good. So, do you think coach O is all that? Just curious.

Maybe start a different thread to address your concerns about today's game against CLEMSON.

Just messing with ya'. I know what you mean. :)
