His teammates aren't helping with penalties on any positive plays, critical drops, and no OL blocking but fans won't care. They are going to roast him if he doesn't turn it around in the 2nd half.

The Browns stink.
He is stuck there, unless they work out a trade and eat most of his contract.
There are many other teams that could use him, but nobody wants his contract.
He’s stuck in Cleveland….. $$$$$.

Tom Brady also had a wife that was worth $400M so he could do that. I get no one "needs" $50M a season but when you are the bread winner and you want to retire your family and live the rest of your life very comfortably you need what you can get. Not saying it's right but it definitely isn't wrong either. The NFL doesn't give 2 rats arses about the players so why not stack the money you can?

And sad part is that the very best years were wasted on having to lawyer up to defend against accusations, and then paying off people, and then being away from game, and losing his reputation, and starting over with a new team, etc.

I share you sentiment LBB. I think you hit the nail on the head, very unfortunately. I absolutely hate seeing him play this way. Seeing how long Rodgers, Brady and others have played I'm hoping he still has many good days ahead of him. It just seems that he can't get his head back in the game. Maybe he will snap back into it someday.

He hasn't been himself since he sat out the 2021 season to force the Texans to trade him. The accusations and lawsuits certainly didn't help, either.

It’s crazy to me. The guy was the best player I’ve ever seen to suit up in Clemson orange. He showed that his first few years in the league too. Ever since the accusations he’s been a whole different player. I have such mixed feelings. Loved him as a player. Surprised and disappointed by his accused actions. And now his career is looking over

because he has no drive and is always unavailable.
Maybe if he would practice to build chemistry with his teammates instead of resting for "soreness" and taking photo shoots of every outfit he would play a little better.
The dude is cooked. The guy who said "lets be legendary" and put the team on his back to beat bama no longer exists. The guy who was lighting up the field in Houston no longer exists.
