That kid was posing no danger to anyone on the field or the bench to deserve to be slammed to the ground like that. Drunk kid at a night game. Get over yourself, "Coach." Let security haul him to the temporary jail in the stadium or on campus to sleep it off and be done with it.

You pay good money to see football; what's the difference between the players doing physical battle & an instance such as this where a student volunteers himself for the coach to take advantage of his desire to be a football player?

The point is is that if you don't want the punishment of the game, don't play it!

It wasn't even that hard of a tackle; he simply put the man down on his back like any former linebacker would do in the same exact situation.
