Like the dude and may be an amazing OC. I still am not sure if he's proven on his own. But one thing that is 100% sure, is dude could recruit. For that reason alone, especially if there is otherwise movement on staff, I'd love to see him back in Clemson orange.

I really don’t mind someone thumbing me down. But

I would be interested if someone has an opinion that is different than mine to actually say it. I like alternative viewpoints. So again fine if you want to thumb me down doesn’t hurt me in the least but would be curious your thoughts if opposing or if you’re just a keyboard warrior in moms basement being a douchenozzle. That’s ok too just curious what the opposing viewpoint is here. Thanks.

It's not the scheme. It's not the playcalling. The issue is the inability of the most important position on the field to operate it consistently, let alone at a high level.
There isn't an offensive coordinator who can magically fix the elephant in the room. There are no magic playcalls that will suddenly turn DJ into Deshaun.
There will be no offensive staff changes unless someone leaves for another job. If we want to win more national titles, first and foremost, we need elite play from the QB. It ALL starts there. Imagine Deshaun or Trevor running the offense. Do you think we'd have better accuracy, better decisions, more mobility in the pocket and not being an unsure statue, more threat to scramble and run, more confidence to let the ball rip and give the receivers a chance, whether semi-covered ("50/50") or not? And saying, "oh they're just 'generational" talent". No, they're elite talent. Elite talent (and elite confidence) are needed at the most important position on the field, if we want to win national championships.
Both DJ and Cade are elite on paper. It doesn't look like one of them will meet the billing, and obviously it's way too early to know on the other.
Bottom line is, there is no explosive offense you can run when the QB is incapable of performing at a high level.

Thanks for your opinion. I value that. I'm not all knowing. Now, to be clear, all I'm saying is that I think our offensive recruiting, especially at wr fell off after he left. I'd like him back recruiting for us. And I am not suggesting that we fire someone to make room for him. I'm only saying if it worked out. You bring up a great point that I myself have said multiple times. We will likely never see another combination of qbs almost back to back, save Kelly Bryant year, like Deshaun and Trevor. Ain't happening. Even if DJ plays to the best of his potential, he's not going to extend plays like they did. Let's be clear they were top 10 possibly even both worthy of the top draft pick if there was a need and if people weren't stupid and pick Mitch Trubisky above him.
I'm not disagreeing with you on DJ, he cannot run like either of them, so he can't extend a play when the OLine fails or all the wrs are covered. I also don't think we have the wrs like we used to that can separate or man up and get that 50/50 ball. Cade, jury is still out in my opinion, but I haven't watched enough of him to say he is somehow much much better than DJ like other people seem to throw around.
Your bottom line is accurate.

He could coach and get the max potential out of the WR's too!
