Dabo raised a giant.
He is the best coach in college football now and it's not arguable anymore.
He was the downfall of Sabans terror. Has put many well established coaches and teams on posters! Just not as winners!
And, for esecpn, he has the hardware and then some.
Its hard to bring a team to what clemson is and stay put in this day and age of the wrong loss can get you fired or hired and go to a dif job.
And for a reality check. Dabo told bamer, NO.
It's like a jilted girlfriend and you get ur family to say ur not at home! Lol! Love it!

It was the most productive passing season in Clemson history.
Do you remember when Cornell Powell came out of nowhere and Amari Rodgers elevated his draft stock? Yeah that was Grisham.
The QB that year was some dude named Trevor Lawrence.
Since then DJ was a bust and Cade needs to grow up. There are receivers getting open and Wesco and Moore will only help things. What needs to happen is for the game to slow down for Cade and he becomes great. Then and only then will the WRs have a chance to look great.

Maybe. Sometimes. Barely.
Our WRs over the last few years barely block, and barely get open.
How many posts did Tee Higgins just blow by the defense and wait for the pass to get there? How many times did Ross just beat his man down the sideline? How often was Renfrow squatting open and in the right place for the first down?
We can talk about QBs "throwing his man open" but WRs need to block when the play calls for it, run the right routes, and get a step or two of separation.
The recent WRs were not doing those things very consistently.

If Cade had a pocket to throw from last year he would have hit some of those wide open receivers. Why did Cade have such a great last drive in the Gator Bowl? The defensive line of Kentucky was gassed. He had time to stand in the pocket.
Fix the O-Line problems and you fix Cade.

Matt Luke was a very good hire for the O-line. Cade will automatically improve his passing with the added time he'll get in pocket, and Mafah will run wild in 2024.

if throwing money at good coaches that don't fit the brand and ill be the first one to say when I see cade running for his life I don't care in the moment!
Probably why I'm not a coach! That and my understanding of internal matters is zero. But I'm a paying fan with roots deep in Clemson so I'm gonna a have my say on tnet!

I think that with the portal and NIL, being the best coach in terms winning as a result of developing players and outcoachng others to win games isn't going to win at a high level. It's going to be the coach that can market a program to attract immediate impact players that another school developed. Most any of us, with FBS level players and a basic game plan could beat Saban with FBS level players.

Winning is about the majority. The most playoff
Wins, most championships by far (national and conference), gpr for players is phenomenal, grad rates are phenomenal

When these 9 year covid players fizzle out and it goes back to 3 to 4 year players your thoughts of portal will massively change. As well as the portal itself. It will be back to 4 and 5 stars that font pan out, jucos that finally got the grade and a very limited amount of players that will bring notoriety.
