1979 - 1989 were the best of times, but they are now past.

But you can't take them from me.....they get better every year like a fine wine. Love us now, but that era was special in many of our eyes (and hearts)!

Those were good teams on the field, but I like Dabo's program sooo much more than Ford's. It may be a national cultural change, which would be good. Still, I like not reading about a bunch of football players and a stripper in a hotel room where she comes out with bruises. On the oppositte end of the spectrum, I Love reading about players graduating and going on to live productive lives outside of football.

I think I read somewhere years ago during the Bowden years on how some of us long for the days where we won 10 games a year and get extremely pissed at the the two we lost. Well...here we are.

Which reminds me - If Danny Ford had been coaching, then Gurley would have been a non-factor in that game. The big-time players did not beat Danny Ford.
Herschel Walker and Art Schlichter say "Hi".
Thanks for reminding us of the REAL reason we lost - we just needed Danny Ford.

You strung words together and made a coherent post so you can't be that young. Google, young lad.
